Seen. Have posted in one of the threads asking users to reformat the whole iPod without letting it autorun.

ndmmxiaomayi SG

Don't need. Scroll page by page is free. Cool

hisoka SG

hmmz mayi any plans or those of your colleagues at the tech help to test out firefox 2 and feedback to us mere limited mortals?

PointBlue SG

Okkay.

I'll help you out with the IT forum from time to time, try to do what I can.

ndmmxiaomayi SG

Firefox 2 out since last week.

Everything is still the same... but still having problems with handling memory. My Firefox crash a lot of times when a page fails to load.

ndmmxiaomayi SG

Sure. Thanks mate. Mr. Green

PointBlue SG

Mine is problemfree so far. Spellcheck's fun, but new interface looks less inspired.

ndmmxiaomayi SG

But it needs to be taught. Not a spelling error they also flag it. Laughing

The anti-phishing feature is great. Will dig out the screenshot for it.

Interface ar.... I just wish the X are not there. Sometimes optical mouse go haywire and poof! Your website closed. Neutral

PointBlue SG

X? Hmm haven't seen it.

Personally I find the little things about the new Firefox more appealing. Spellcheck's useful in forums, Quick Find is a new feature (press /) that's cool, RSS compatibility etc.

I kinda hope they update Thunderbird instead. That one needs more help.

ndmmxiaomayi SG

X --> to close the tabs.

I don't like Quick Find....

Ctrl + F is enough. The rest are good.

The redundant History toolbar...

hisoka SG

okz me go and install Mr. Green

PointBlue SG

orh that X ar. I use the mouse gestures extension, my curson doesn't need to go near that bar at all.

PointBlue SG

Hmm, they didn't ask you to update? I thought Firefox will prompt when a new update arrives?

ndmmxiaomayi SG

The only thing that users are quite scared of... the anti-phishing features.

When you visit a suspected website, you will be shown this:

After clicking "Get me out of here!" , you will be shown the phished website, but not able to click or type or select anything.

One way to check... forums again. Mr. Green

Here's where I check against: http://www.castlecops.com/f217-PIRT_Fried_Phish_Reports.html

They are quite fast, with a few users reporting. Smile

PointBlue SG

cooool...

and that link you posted is too scary for me... Surprised

ndmmxiaomayi SG

Castlecops link is all right.

But never go to those websites listed in Castlecops. I went to screenshots nia. Who needs antivirus vendors anti-phishing feature when you can get those free? Laughing

PointBlue SG

I go buy food for my sister now, brb. And I thought you couldn't access castlecops?

ndmmxiaomayi SG

Now can liao. Singnet fixed it. After my complain. Laughing

See you later. Wink

ndmmxiaomayi SG

Go for lunch. Smile

hisoka SG

i see what you mean about the crosses

i prefer the old version where the X is at the right hand corner of the whole window
